One Conversation Could Spark a Revival

Charlie Kirk was described as bold, courageous, and anchored in the hope of Christ. He understood what Paul meant when he wrote, “To live is Christ and to die is gain.” His life reminds us that the Gospel was never meant to be contained within four church walls. It was meant to be carried into the streets, into our workplaces, into our homes, and into everyday conversations.

Too often, Christianity in our culture has slipped into being about what we consume. We go to church, we listen, we get fed—and then we go back to life as usual. But the Gospel is not a spectator sport.

Here’s the choice before us: we can sit on the sidelines, or we can step onto the field.

The hour is urgent. The world is searching for hope, and we carry the answer—Jesus Christ. Every day presents opportunities. Sometimes it’s a simple word of encouragement, a prayer, or a mention of how God has worked in your life. Other times, it may be a bold step into deeper conversation. Whether small or big, every conversation about Jesus matters.

This is our assignment too. Fear will always try to keep us silent. But the same Spirit that filled the early church fills us today. We don’t have to shrink back. We don’t have to wait for the perfect moment. We simply need to start.

Imagine what could happen if every believer spoke to just one person a day about Jesus. A movement would ignite—not built on programs or personalities, but on ordinary people stepping out in faith.

So let’s rise with conviction. Let’s carry the torch of the Gospel forward. Let’s honor the legacy of those who lived unafraid by choosing courage over comfort. Step onto the field. Speak up. Share hope. Advance the Kingdom.

The world is waiting.

"Only God could do it" outcome.

This is a story of my family's home with an "Only God could do it" outcome.

In the early 90's my parent's business began to be very successful. They built their dream home in 1992. Success came so quick and sudden that they were unaware how to manage the money. Within a few years, my parents decided to also build a modest home for my grandparents on the corner of my parent's property. They finished the structure and began to put up drywall when my grandparent's health began to fail, leaving that home unfinished.

Soon after, business slowly began dropping every month my parents kept all of our employees working. Soon they had to mortgage the house to pay wages and expenses, and not long afterwards, start letting employees go, always expecting business to improve.

Over the next 15 years our family struggled to keep up on payments. Based on all the payments over those years we more than paid the principle but still owed 4 times the value of the house. Desperate for some breathing room, they tried to sell the unfinished house but always ran into some problem. Partially because it was on my parent's property. The house needed its own, one acre lot, so my mom mapped out the acre and submitted the paperwork needed.

My little sister got married in 2007 and her and her husband wanted to buy and finish my grandparent's home. They paid for a survey and a few other things to move forward but nothing seemed to pan out.

My mom and I wrote "Paid in Full" on the mortgage bill. We then went before the LORD and prayed over the bill speaking our faith as though it was already done.

Soon after, my mom got a call from the courthouse saying that she had an illegal deed. Without thinking, she went and signed the paperwork they had to correct the mistake.

During this time, I was watching a program on Indian kachina dolls. They said that kachina dolls represent different gods. My dad had, during his career, traded for many of these dolls ranging in value from about $200 to $800 and one he bought for $5000. I believed God was telling us to destroy them. I began to talk to my family over the next few months on burning the dolls. After about 5 months or so, we were 6 months behind on the mortgage and the foreclosure was about 1 month away. We then went to our local church and
asked the pastor to pray over the very emotional situation.

My family talked about selling the kachina dolls (valued at approximately $20,000 new) but I believe God told me that if we were to sell them, then that money we'd make on them would be our blessing. However, if we destroy them, then God would bring a much greater blessing.

My family agreed and so my sister and I gathered up all of the dolls, and we put them in a pile in the driveway and lit a match. We prayed during this time with great joy.

Within the next few weeks, my mom received a phone call stating that there was a mix up in the address between my parent's property and the property my mom subdivided. The county ended up placing the original address on the subdivided property, so the house the bank had legal access to foreclose on was now the unfinished house and acre lot. Leaving my parent's house "Paid in Full"! My mom even tried three times to correct this address mistake.

Believe in the completed work of Jesus Christ, the power of prayer and when God speaks, listen and obey. Do what you can and leave the results up to Him. He will bless you.

God Bless you all, amen.

First Try

I had never shared my faith before, but after committing to Killing the Giants, I decided to take a step. Nervous but determined, I started a conversation with a coworker during lunch. To my surprise, the man admitted he had been struggling and was looking for hope. We talked for a bit and I learned a lot that I never knew. I will continue our conversation each day going forward.

I walked away with my heart pounding, realizing it was worth it. My first try wasn’t perfect, but it was powerful—because I had obeyed God and planted a seed that could change eternity. This is not over.

A Conversation I’ll Never Forget

I was out at a coffee shop this afternoon, just planning to grab my drink and get back to work. But as I stood in line, I noticed a young guy sitting alone at a corner table. He looked deep in thought — kind of weighed down.

I felt that nudge from God: “Go talk to him.” My first reaction? “Lord, I’ve got things to do…” But the nudge didn’t go away, so I walked over and simply said, “Hey, mind if I join you for a minute?”

We started talking about normal stuff — his job, his plans, how life’s been treating him. Then the conversation shifted. I shared a little about my own journey and how God’s pulled me through some seasons I didn’t think I’d survive.

He admitted he’d grown up around church but had walked away years ago. He said life had been feeling pretty empty lately, but he didn’t see how God fit into the picture anymore.

For the next 25 minutes, we talked about who Jesus really is — not just rules or religion, but a personal relationship. I told him about the times I’ve seen God answer prayers in ways I couldn’t explain. I shared about the peace He gives, even when life is chaotic.

When we finally wrapped up, he leaned back in his chair and said, “I’ll have to think about that. You really opened my eyes.”

We shook hands, and I left praying that God would keep stirring his heart. I may not have seen him give his life to Christ right then, but I know that conversation planted a seed — and seeds grow.
